Welcome

NEW BOOKINGS AT HALWIN LANE FARM HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY PAUSED.  WE WILL UPDATE AVAILABILITY AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE AGAIN.

Halwin Lane Farm is situated on a quiet unmade farm lane well away from traffic and yet only a short walk to the village pub or bus stops and a short drive to nearby towns such as Helston (historic town famous for Flora Day held on or very close to the 8th May every year) and Falmouth with their many shops and amenities.

The photo below shows Stithians Lake which is a wonderful location for water sports and walks.  It is just a 5 minute drive from Halwin Lane Farm.

The cottage adjoins our own house and we are always happy to advise on places to visit or things to do in the area.  We welcome well behaved dogs and we do not make extra charges for bringing your four legged friends with you.  There might be a restriction on the number of dogs but just contact the owners to discuss this.

The accommodation consists of a spacious open plan living room and kitchen with a good sized double bedroom, bathroom and outside space. The bedroom is large enough for an additional young child's bed on request (recommend suitable for under 7s). Alternatively if coming with a baby there is room for your travel cot in the double bedroom.  There is also a single sofa bed in the living room.

There is plenty of parking, a small enclosed garden and a lovely covered veranda perfect for coffee whatever the weather or indeed a great place to keep your Wellingtons.

Porkellis itself is a small village and has a lovely pub (The Star Inn) which serves excellent food.  Porkellis is ideal for touring as it is only a short drive in any direction to reach the coast, rivers or towns.  You will need your own transport to make the most of your holiday as buses only run through the village every hour or so.
